WELCOME TO THE SYDNEY GAYMERS JULY GAME-A-THON
Sydney gaymers, far and wide,
Gather around, for the 7th of July,
For there'll be games, and food, and drinks galore,
social penguins, and Link, and Mario, and more,
Everyone's welcome, the young and the gay,
nothing to worry about, just come along and play
(NOTE: City Hotel won't let in persons under 18 years old)
We've exclusively booked out the Emperor Room at the City Hotel in the city of Sydney (Corner King and Kent St, between Town Hall and Wynyard Station). We'll be bringing along a Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, hooking it up to the big screen and having a social game of a few of your favourites, including:
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- Mario Kart Wii
- Street Fighter X Tekken
- Mortal Kombat
- Dirt
- Gran Turismo V
- 007 Goldeneye (2010)
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2
- ...and more!
There will also be a knockout tournament, where you can win prizes.
$20 ticket price includes food, serving all of the following:
- Bruschetta w/ tomato, Spanish onion, basil & balsamic (Vegetarian)
- Spinach & ricotta filo pastry triangles (Vegetarian)
- Salt & pepper squid w/ aioli
- Chorizo sausage & feta quiche tartlets
- Mini beef burgers w/ cucumber and spicy mayonnaise
Soft drinks will also be provided. Full bar available upstairs.
$5 Soft Drink ONLY package available, includes free refills for soft drinks.
The game-a-thon starts at 4:00pm and ends at 9:30pm, but the party doesn't stop there! We'll be heading out into the night to party on.
You can choose to arrive/leave/return at any time between 4:00pm and 9:30pm. Competition times will be announced before the event begins.
